My camera adventure was over.. the camera I got wasn't what I wanted so I sold it on ebay .. loss some money.. but still ok..

 

anyway.. Im going to get a new camera... now planning to spend $300+ or so...

 

School is going ok.. but school activites are not... Im a part of the planning committe for school's major events and entertainment event.. the one we are having this semester is call Tech Fest... its only a month away... and a lot of stuff are not done yet..

 

sigh..

Ok.. I finally figured out how to post videos.. but how exactly do I post picture inside the acutal blog instead of those tiny ones at the end of my blog entry.. sigh..

 

I finally got the camera.. its certainly not top in the line.. but I suppose I could cope with that.. (poor college kids.. sigh)...

Ughhhhh!!! My camera is not here yet.. yucky.. I was gonna update my blog once my camera is here so I could start posting pic stuff.. but it wont be here till tmw..

 This happened about two weeks ago.. Basically Stevens was the only college in the tri-state area that got on the list for Top 20 Schools with Best Career Services.

 

 

As a result, the abc news came an interview our school.. so they kind of needed students to be extras on the video.. so i earned my 3 second of fame by siting on a chair talking to a counselor and walking pass the career service sign.. fun experience... the only downside.. i was in a crappy pink shirt and a sweat pant (opper comfty but definitely not what I want to wear to be on tv.. hehe)

刚刚去看了看What's New看见一个从baidu链接过来的访客。。 在好奇心作祟下， 去看看了下。。 原来是有人在差Native Son里面的人物们。。 因为这里有写Native Son是我最喜欢的一本书之一。。 所以就搜索的到。。 那本故事真特别感人。。 故事是在1930年左右吧，主角Bigger Thomas 是一个贫穷黑人家里的小孩。。 那个是后的种族歧视特别严重。。 Bigger 在这样的环境长大。。 心理的本质也是有点歪曲的。。 毕竟大家都是同样的人。。 为什么白人种族就觉得的自己比其他的厉害啦？ (skipping).. Bigger 在一个白人妇女家里（Dalton) 当司机Mrs。 Dalton有个女而叫Mary。。 有一天Bigger开车送Mary 去跟他的男友（Jan) 约会。。 Mary 跟 Jan为了让Bigger 难堪所以带他去一家白人酒吧玩。。 3个人都喝的醉松松的。。 之后Bigger 卡车送Mary回家。。 因为Mary醉的很厉害所以Bigger送他回房间。。 因该因为Bigger是一个年轻小伙子。。 而且这么接近一个白人年青女子。。 在心理与生理的冲动下， Bigger 轻吻了Mary。。 大概这个时候。。 Mrs。 Dalton 进来查房 （她看不见）。。 Bigger为了不让Mary 发出声音意外下拿枕头把Mary淹死了。。 故事之后就是练这这见事情简述Bigger从这里到cover up到逃跑到误杀他自己的女友到被抓到开审到最后被判死刑。。 剧中的高潮前起真的让人感受生客。。 特别是Bigger的laywer (Max)最后讲的一番话真的说尽那是种族不平等所创造的悲剧。。。 （故事读了很久。 记得不是很清楚了。。 所以sparknote了一下）。。

 

 

最近还读了另一本书 -- A Memory Keeper's Daugher 也是超感人的。。 简述一个医生 （David Henry）自己童年的时候因为妹妹的心脏有问题所以家里的人都把注意力集中在妹妹身上。。 不过妹妹在10岁左右就死了。。 家里人因为这个悲剧而变的破丧。。 这个童年阴影让医生一直走不出来。。

 

之后医生结婚了。。 而妻子有怀孕了。。 在生产的时候（因为下雪妇产医生没法来。。 所以只好自己和一个护士来）。。 第一孩子（男的）出来了。。很健康。。 可是之后却发现还有个。。 （那时候没有超声波所以不能提前查看）。。 第二个孩子是女的。。 可是一出生david就发现她有 DownSyndrom (弱智）倾向。。 害怕他自己童年的故事repeat.. 他叫护士把孩子带到一个孤儿院。。。 护士之后不忍心所以自己带着女婴离开了。。 david以为自己这样做是对他家庭最好的选择。。 因为他不想他的老婆和他的儿子跟他一样会时时刻刻担心女儿的安慰。。 因为他的决定。。 他的家庭最后有了不同的结果。。 就讲到这里了。。 我建议大家去读一下吧！ 肯定不后悔的。。

呵呵还奖了500. 还不错。。 前年也拿了500 。。 麦克麦克。。 刚好可以拿来付我买的奥运衣服礼品（250）。。 呵呵。。

 

Convocation完了之后是 CLubFair。。 我今年坐在Stevens Fiance Group 的table 那里。。在学校还参加了 Entertainment Committee, Student Government, Dramatic Society, Fencing, 等等等。。。 呵呵

今天Cut了3个class.. 呵呵。。 赖啊。。 明天没课程。。 幸福中！

-早上去露天游泳池游泳。。

-接着Clean House

-接着希望没醉掉。。 以为肯定要整理干净的。。呵呵

 

 

 

 

有些日子没有用中文写blog了.. 以前是因为电脑的中文系统超烂.. 现在使用google的中文系统.. 方便了n倍.. 还是GOOGLE好.. 什么都很简单..

 

一个礼拜没跟新了.. 都忘了到底发生什么事情了.. 呵呵 ... (我看我肯定得了青年痴呆症).. 呵呵..

 

星期一终于搬到新的apartment了.. 简直太完美了.. 跟以前的房子比起来简直像天堂!!! (下次买了照相机肯定去拍... 逛了很久.. 没看到什么喜欢的 .. 呵呵.. 如果大家有心得的话.. 请不客气的介绍一下~~~)... 两个房间 两个厕所 一个客厅 一个厨房 .. 中共4个人住.. 我住在主卧房里.. 有跟私人厕所.. 太幸福了.. 呵呵!!!

 

开学已经一个礼拜了.. 还有很多书没整齐... 应该今年只要买一本 (60快.. 555)... 可是还好其他的朋友都会借给我.. 呵呵 .. 幸福.. 省了300+块...

 

Orientation 也完了.. 今年的freshmen又比以前的多.. 每年都是这样.. 呵呵... 不过现在的小孩(徐然因该只比我小1 2 岁) 都是越来越有脾气了.. 各个都是知我中心的 (当然有些是例外de).. 

 

这个学期修25个学分.. 不过还排到星期五休息一天.. 太厉害了.... 12个是硕士课程.. 12个是本科的.. 一个是体育课(我看就我的学校有require gym classes).. 我朋友都休太极的... 俺比较想学swimming... 可是在星期五.. 所以因该只好学太极了.. 吖... (不过说起来挺悲哀的.. 我在海边呆了10年.. 都还不会swim..

 

哦. 忘了.. 我们4个人和起来发了1200+在这个新的apartment...5555..现在都没钱了.. 我还要去留学啦.. sigh....
